I just signed up with ProZ. I am posting this on Translator resources in case there is anyone who'd be interested in my lexicons of French to English words used in various fields (Olympic Games, Chocolates, Information Technology, Law, etc).

Would like to collaborate with all of you! Hoping that my ProZ experience will be productive and mutually satisfying.

Well, I'm sure some people would be interested, but when I clicked on your link, I was in fact taken to
http://status.blogger.com/
which is purely about the status of the blogspot system

I'm sorry about that Oliver. But I did check and my blog is there alright. I wonder if it has anything to do with the browser you're using.
Would you mind trying: www.francais-anglais.blogspot.com again? I just typed the entire URL on Internet Explorer and it was there! I also clicked on it and it took me to where it should take me.
I apologise for your inconvenience.

An alternative would be to go on google and type on the search box: francais-anglais blog. Maybe that'll do it.

I was wondering myself. And the other thing – I don’t think I would be so eager to share my glossary. It took me so much time and work to build it.

Thank you for your question: you need not click on this particular link. I just thought that I'd share these simple lexicons as a way of contributing to the community. ProZ is a great source of terminology and I just can't be taking and taking without giving. Glossaries have become a democratic platform, there are hundreds of glossaries on the World Wide Web in the more common language pairs.
So even if I worked hard to build them, I don't mind sharing them at all. I enjoy this aspect

So even if I worked hard to build them, I don't mind sharing them at all. I enjoy this aspect of translation. I have met hundreds of people who share their glossaries. But you don't have to go to that link if you don't want to.

Hello Ewa,
Thank you for your comment. Please see my reply to Nicole Schnell. Absolutely no obligation on your part to take a look. As for my doing it in spite of the hard work I did, I believe in sharing. To me ProZ is a great source of jobs and terminology bases. Just thought I'd do for my part for the community. That's all

and welcome. I think this is a possitive action. You can also build glossaries in Proz and they will help to raise your profile here, if you are interested.

Bug in ProZ.com forum software Apr 17, 2010

Well, I'm sure some people would be interested, but when I clicked on your link, I was in fact taken to http://status.blogger.com/

That is because ProZ.com's forum software automatically assumes that the fullstop following the web address is part of the web address, and it turns the URL into the following hyperlink (unspaced):

h t t p : / / w w w . f r a n c a i s - a n g l a i s . b l o g s p o t . c o m . /

...which is of couse incorrect and redirects to a blogspot default page.

[updated post to fix yet another bug in ProZ.com forum software, namely that one should not have a URL with "h t t p : / /" in it directly before the "/quote" tag.]

Any explanation to this?

Hello Alexandre,
Thanks for your message. Yes, that problem was raised before by someone here as well. Glad you tried one more time and you were directed to the right blog. No, I did not change anything during the interval. Have not posted anything recently because I'm swamped with copywriting work.
Cheers,
