1. Login to CrossWeb.
2. Double-click the file you need to translate.
3. In the crossView pane (left), click the ice cream scoop icon, to open the Search tab. Use this to perform searches in the file. The "wildcards" are not regular expressions but boolean operators.
4. In the target text column, click an empty segment, and then press Alt+PageDown to have the text copied into the editing box at the bottom.
5. Translate it...
6. Press Ctrl+Shift+Alt+End to move to the next segment.
7. ... that is about as far as I got.
You can increase your typing room by closing the crossTerm pane on the right-hand side (as far as I can tell, you won't get hits from crossTerm anyway unless you click a little button at the bottom each time).
