Hello Prozians,
A long term clients of ours has a 16k words English brochure to translate, English into Arabic. This is a language for which we have fewer requests, hence a smaller pool of talents – and less experience.
This is rather specialized stuff (risk management/insurance). It needs to be translated and then exported into an existing inDesign layout.
1/ Would you rather chose a good linguist to translate the text and then pass it to a DTP company to typeset/edit (hence keeping more control on the process)? Or would to be preferable to find an agency that could do the whole job in one go (hence streamlining the process and minimising risks of comms issues)?
2/ Any one can recommend a top Eng->Arabic linguist (risk management/insurance) or a reliable agency?
Any input from PM or agencies would be most welcome.
