In order to determine which proposed source texts are the suitable for use in ProZ.com contests, proposers and participants are encouraged to "highlight" (like contest entry tagging) and discuss proposed source texts. A good contest source text should pose a reasonable challenge to translators, while allowing for "separation". Refer to the "Propose a source text" overview page for all source text proposal guidelines.

Dificultades para contar chistes que les gusten a todos los hispanoparlantes

¿Alguna vez le has contado un chiste mexicano a un argentino? ¿O un chiste peninsular a un centroamericano? ¿Siempre se ríen? No. Nuevamente, propongo que los concursos consideren las variantes del español. Y dividirlos en por lo menos tres variantes (o más según la cantidad de participantes): ES peninsular, ES norteamericano (México y USA), ES sudamericano. (Y Colombia, Venezuela, Cuba, etc., dónde quedan?)
