Bio
I am a certified English-Malay translator by the Malaysian Institute of Translation and Books (ITBM). I am also a life-time member of Malaysian Translators Association. On top of that, I have 3 years of experience working as a Chinese translator with essence Burson Masteller, a public relations company before started working as a freelance translator in Jun 2019. I am able to translate in three languages – Chinese (Taiwanese and Mainland Chinese), Malay and English. I have been working on projects such as company website/localisation, technical reports, social media content, press release and business correspondence. I also have some experiences in writing travel article, newsletter and technical publications.
My working experience in different sectors (information technology, tourism, healthcare and public relations) is also an added advantage. It enhances my understanding of the technical terms of different sectors which is a useful trait when it comes to industry-specific translation.
