I use SWIFT Workstation, TRADOS and a high-end PC optimised for video and subtitling. All-in-all, I offer a well-equipped and serious translation and subtitling service, with a mind to intelligent and modern use of language.

For translation my specialisation is in academic texts, technical translation, software and The Sciences.

For subtitling my specialisation is documentaries, film and music.

A conscientious, thorough and switched-on physics & philosophy graduate. Half-German, I have lived in Germany for 3 years and speak fluent and modern German.

I have capable and creative computer-skills and a keen interest in the Arts and Film. With two years experience as a Freelance Subtitler and Translator and four years of additional professional IT and media experience in Cologne and London, I can offer intelligent, fluent, well-written and nuanced translations and subtitles.
