I currently live in Japan, but have lived and worked in the UK (London) for approximately 10 years and
studied translation at the University of Westminster located in London. I have
obtained the Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE) issued by the
University of Cambridge and my latest TOEIC (Test of English for International
Communication) score is 950 points. I have
17 years of experience in translation and I am specialized mainly in the
business field. My translation works so far include general business documents, IR and disclosure
materials (integrated reports, business plans, other disclosure materials and
related documents, presentation materials (PowerPoint), minutes of board of
directors meetings, minutes of general shareholders meetings, rules and
regulations, contracts, articles of incorporation, employment and company
regulations, anti-bribery and anti-corruption policies, quality and training
manuals, university-related documents (application guidelines, course guidance,
etc.), financial statements, other general documents, news released by Agence
France-Presse (AFP) (http://www.afpbb.com) etc.
I love research as much as I love English and translation. I consider this to be one of my strengths, as I have received feedback from the translation companies I currently work with regarding my thorough research.
