I am originally from Cuba, and my five-year experience as a translator has made accomplish a certain level of specialization.

I worked for two years translating technical documents on a Metallurgic Company facing all diferent types of challenging terminology regarding metal alloys and infrastructure plans.

I also completed a period of two years at a Travel agency as translator and interpreter; translating brochures, flyers, posters and glossaries of new tourism terms debated in conferences.

A great fulfillment was at an Edition and Copywrighting Department, as I targeted mainly at literature, poetry, jargons, and style performance. I was focused on magazines articles, advertisements, entertainment texts as well as novels and short stories by classical writers.


Awarded by the Metallurgic Company on presenting a thesis about the importance of a technical term glossary for a better understanding and assesment of the machinery and products usage.


Awarded with a "Better Translator" prize on a contest of Literary translation accuracy between different publishing companies in the country.
