When I was a teenager I studied English as one of my extracurricular activities and I achieved Cambridge's FCE graduation in 1998. As an adult I enrolled and, after doing the course, I graduate...d in philosophy at UnB in 2011.
After I graduated I managed to get a job at MB Institute as an English teacher here in Brasilia, and I have been working there ever since.
I always enjoyed sports and music as well. During my teenage years I practiced basketball at Vizinhança club, in Brasilia. And I studied music at BSB Musical, also in Brasilia. When I became 18 I decided to start practising Kung Fu and abandoned music. Mostly because of the movies, I have to say. But it wasn't a choice I regret making. Today I am graduated as an Instructor and I have plans to begin teaching myself.
I have had many different experiences abroad in my life, also. I have been several times to the USA. I have passed through New York, Orlando, Sedona, Long Beach, Hollywood and Santa Barbara. I lived in Long Beach, CA for a month with my sister. I have been to Europe too. There I visited Paris, where I got the chance to meet the Louvre museum the Ponpidou museum and the Versailles Palace. And after Paris, we (my family and I) went to Greece. We there visited Athens, Mikonos, Santorine and Crete. It was awesome. Beeing a South American I couldn't pass on the opportunity of visiting some of our neighbouring Countries. I visited in South America, Bolivia and Chile, only. But I really intend on going to Cuba and the Caribbean coast in the future.
I have a good English proficiency and I am experienced and interested in a wide range of subjects from politics to computer games. I am hard working and I love to teach. Because of my knowledge and experience acquired during the years I feel very confident that I am ready to lauch myself on the translation market.
