español al inglés Técnico/Ingeniería Informática: Sistemas, redes application and software design
text from Spain, describing checks to be made at the design stage and procedures for different versions of applications. This appears and I am stumped - any ideas? Here's the context and TIA!

Discussion

Parrot Sep 10, 2008:
Could they also refer to a terminal-server tandem? I just have a suspicion they're already in English.
Ramon Ortega Sep 10, 2008:
Agree Spec features that don't make it to the final version, known as 'cuts', need to be discussed in a triage. Teams, departments or individuals involved in such triage could be, but not limited to, marketing, support, subs, top management, product manager, manufacturing, etc. Here, I would rule out development for obvious reasons, at least initially.

I would investigate the company's web site and their distributor's looking for departments with those initials. Another possibility is they refer to staff members by their initials... HTH
Ronnie McKee Sep 10, 2008:
could it be departments? Could it be saying that if there is something (a feature) that will be postponed to a later release or just closed out without implementing that such a decision should be approved by (agreed with) AT and/ or PDS.......and maybe AT and PDS are departments? or teams? or?

4 KudoZ points awarded for this answer. Comment: "this fits perfectly - earlier in the text it discusses the alpha and beta versions - thank you! ;-)"
