"Through the econometric modeling of the Sales of a consumer product..."
"Mediante la Modelización Econométrica de las Ventas de un Producto de Gran Consumo..."
De momento se me ocurre:
"Through the econometric modeling of the Sales of a consumer product..."

"...sale of major conumer goods".
Almost every month, it seems, a major consumer goods company announces a plan for “supply chain transformation” that includes a major network redesign.

: In your example, "major" means "significant" producer of consumer goods. This is not precisely the same as a product with high sales volume or wide market penetration.//I think of major consumer goods as cars or refrigerators.

mass-consumption product
Many of those channels will be occupied by information services, home-shopping networks and special-interest programming, but it has become increasingly clear that only network television can provide the audience base needed to introduce a **mass-consumption product.***

This article deals with the period when tobacco started to be a mass consumption product in many countries, mainly in the form of cigarettes. By that time, the tobacco industry was organised either under a fiscal monopoly or under a highly taxed competitive market. So to understand how smoking became a universally consumed product, it is necessary to review the role of governments in this process.

Basic telecommunications infrastructures, such as the telephone and the radio, were mass marketed during the Fordist era. However, the major change was the large diffusion of the automobile, especially from the 1950s as it became a truly **mass consumption product** and when the first major highway systems, such as the American Interstate, began to be built.
