Weighed Materials Holding Area APA1

'esclusa' does mean "lock" in English, but the sort of lock you get on a canal, not on a door! "Holding Area" seems a more natural translation for it here. I don't know if the APA has any significance, or if it is just a label for a particular holding area in this facility.

THANK YOU! Yes. It's just a label. Thank you for your help

APA 1 sluice / weighed

Withdraw the raw material from the Weighed Matter and place it/put it into the APA 1 sluice /weighed matter.

It all depends on the context and type of raw material you're referring to. A sluice is for liquids.
Peer comment(s):

neutral Nigel Wheatley : this is possible, but I find it hard to imagine this 'esclusa' being a "sluice", just from the context here: I would expect more operational details for the trasfer of a weighed liquid into a sluice than are given here

I agree. That's why I said it depended on the context. Just think of the number of types of raw materials that exist in the world!!

APA 1 Materials Pass Box / Weighing Room or Station

Although esclusa could also be used to refer to a sluice used to pour fluids, or powders that pour like fluids, into a weighing station, I expect that this probably refers to a pass box or transfer hatch (pass box is probably the most common).

Unfortunately, I can´t help you with APA (área de pesadas analíticas, quizás).

Aside from 'air lock/airlock', simply 'lock' is often used:

Personnel and material locks in special height

In order to adhere to the flow of people and materials, the high quality locks are divided into personnel, material and document locks.

Safety system material locks are constructed in such a way that one side is always secured. If the material lock is loaded from the front and then opened at the rear for unloading, the front material lock gate closes automatically.

Regarding the APA 1 part, apart from Nigel's suggestion, it is possible that reference is made to a specific material called APA 1:

APA-1 is a strong, flexible material with fibers held together with organic binder that is available in roll or sheet form.
http://www.directindustry.es/prod/zircar-ceramics/papel-de-a...

Taken together, I would translate it as
'Weighed material lock APA 1' -if it's just a label-, or as
'Weighed APA 1 material lock' if they are referring to raw materials (such as aluminum) for the production of APA 1.
