Hello. This is from a summary of a report on a Spanish hospital. In a table entitled 'Procesos más frecuentes', the 'índice casuístico' is a figure given for each individual medical service provided by the hospital, for example:
"Cataratas con/sin vitrectomías 0,9172
Neoplasias 1,1729
Patología ginecológica general 0,7191"
At the end of the table the text provides this definition:
"IC: Índice Casuístico. Promedio de peso para las altas del Hospital o Servicio."
