Hello,
I'm translating a medical journal about the use of the thrust technique to treat dysfunctions in the cervical spine and I'm a little stuck on this sentence:
Is the term "joint barrier" commonly used in English? I haven't come across it in my research.
Perhaps a suitable translation could be "to increase the locked sensation in the joints" or something like that?
Keen for some wisdom from the floor!
Thanks!

joint end feel
This includes "sensación", because the whole phrase goes together.

"end feel
a characteristic sensation perceived by the examiner when the end of joint range of motion is reached. The six types of joint end feel most often used are bone to bone, soft tissue approximation, spasm end feel, empty end feel, capsular end feel, and springy block."

"This type of joint end-feel is characterized by a “yielding compression” as is typically encountered with knee or elbow flexion."
