Hello.
A colleague is reviewing a Latin to English translation of a Law Degree. The diploma is signed off with:
Pro Probaturum Collegium
Prof. XXX XXXX
The translator has translated this as "On behalf of the College of Graduates" but she is not convinced that this is the correct translation but cannot come up with a suitable alternative.
Are there any Latin linguists available who could possibly provide the correct phrase, if the above is incorrect?
