Japanese term

視界ごと

Non-PRO Japanese to English Art/Literary Cinema, Film, TV, Drama
Dear ProZ members,

I was wondering if 視界ごと meant "my whole field of vision" in the following sentence.

弱さを隠したいのに視界ごと見えなくなっている
(I'd like to hide my weakness, yet I can't see my whole field of vision anymore.)

No context, unfortunately: it's from a song. I'm finding no trace of this meaning for ごと, so I wonder if I got it right.

Thank you so much!

the entire vision

I assume what it says is "I just wants to hide my weak points, but the entire vision (of the person I want to hide the weak points from) has got blocked altogether."

~ごと means ~の全て or "in its entirety".
