Съгласно, чл. 3 от цитираният подзаконов нормативен акт "търговски обект" е всяко помещение и/или съоръжение (например маси, сергии и други подобни) на открито или под навеси, от което се извършват продажби на стоки и услуги, независимо от факта, че помещението или съоръжението може да служи същевременно и за други цели ( например офис, жилищно помещение и други подобни), да е част от притежаван недвижим имот (например гараж, мазе, стая и други подобни) или да е производствен склад, или превозно средство, от което се извършват продажби.
