Lai\'an provided a good analogy. In fact, we often compare electrical current with water flow. We can say: \"the total water flow drawn from tank A and Tank B is 4 gallons/minute maximum.\" For water we can say 吸取 or 提取, but for electrical current we usually say 导入, 输入 or 引入.
