Relation (Intercompany) – Relates to the counterparty in intercompany transaction. If we look at the activity example, the sales to Baxi France in the BU intercompany would have the following I.xxxxxx notation: I.BFRC. The sales in the other BU’s in the above example would have no intercompany relationship (I.none), since they are third-party related. For the balance sheet items, the intercompany relationship can be typically found in short-term receivables and payables (a receivable in company X from company Y is a payable in company Y to company X). Another intercompany relationship is the intercompany loan, the same principal applies here.
