2 - Ar mai fi şi termenul de acustică care se referă la "frequency range" (mă refer la intensitatea sunetului) care nu apare aici , de parcă acustica nu face parte de universul muzicii.Termen pe care l-aş traduce *bandă de frecvenţe*.
3 - în toate cărţuliile mele de muzică (şi sunt multe), nu am găsit termenul *ambitus* decât referitor la muzica gregoriană şi teoria din evul mediu care şi ea se bazează pe *cantus gregorianus*. Apropo, numai în Cambridge dictionary apare acest termen.
Termenul *ambitus* ca registru de sunete, probabil că a fost introdus mult mai târziu. Dealtfel sunt curioasă când şi de cine. Eu nu am găsit. Dacă tu cunoşti o sursă lingvistică în care să arate dezvoltarea etimologică a cuvinetelor aş fi f.f. bucuroasă.
