No offence, but I don't get it:
tenant - a person who pays rent for the use of land or a building
joint tenant - a person who owns a whole building or piece of land with at least one other person, and who will automically become the owner of all of it if the other owners die

No offence, but I don't get it:

joint tenant - a person who owns a whole building or piece of land with at least one other person, and who will automically become the owner of all of it if the other owners die
