Il termine propriamente linguistico dovrebbe essere "categoria grammaticale"; ho riguardato in "Fondamenti di linguistica" di Raffaele Simone, Editori Laterza, 1995: capitolo sulle categorie grammaticali: sono categorie il ´genere´, il ´numero´, il ´tempo´, il ´modo´, la ´persona´, ecc.
