I hold a bachelor's degree in EN/FR translation, and a master's degree degree in FR/EN translation, and I have completed several cours...es towards an MCI (FR/EN - EN/FR).
Thus far, I have found it difficult to break into the freelancing business. It seems as though most clients seek to put far too much emphasis on the 'free' (or nearly free) aspect of the business of 'free'lance translation.
I am hoping to find some good ideas here, at this conference, to get my business on a solid and respectable footing.
