Checked in osata Freelancer Bio: I started translating articles and booklets from English to Bulgarian when I was 14, after I had finished my first year at a specialized language school. At 16 I started doing simultaneous interpretation from Bulgarian to English every Sunday at church for an English sp...eaking friend. I have translated more than 20 books from English to Bulgarian, both fiction and non-fiction. For the last two years I have been translating fashion articles on a daily basis. I haven't translated any serious literary works though. I have also tried my hand at translating Bulgarian poetry into English and translating English lyrics from musicals for performing them in Bulgarian. A year ago I got my second higher education degree, in English Philology and Teaching English as a Foreign Language (my first BA is in Economics). Currently I teach English to young children in a private elementary school in Bulgaria. I am not doing any translation work at the moment and I find I miss it. Translation and teaching are my two professional passions and I can't nominate one over the other. To me they are equally important and they complement each other.
