Hebrew term
מוקד
Hebrew to English
Other
Telecom(munications)
Security
This term is used in different contexts, in an internal report by a security company (COMPANY A) which runs a "Moked" ('security mnitoring centre')
The first context is the municipal מוקד, which is meant to be informed when the seccurity company deals with a "significant" event. Since such "Mokeds" are ususally general information centres, I think "call centre' might suffice.
However there is also a security firm (COMPANY B) whose "Moked" electronically-triggered alarms from sensors in various locations, and which notifies COMPANY A.
How would one translate this third type of Moked?
