Some translators have the liberty to utilize the tools of their choosing, including those offered by entities with questionable track records in terms of digital privacy. YOU provide a translation service to your clients, which means YOU are a business that sells a type of commodity to the general public. I’d argue the translators are also subject to all applicable consumer data protection laws.
