Hello,

I would appreciate very much if someone could help me with an issue.
I'm quite new to transit - in fact to review jobs in transit, because I did translations before.
I've downloaded Transit 3.0 Satellite PE.
I received a TXF file from my client and... I don't know how to use it! Sounds a bit silly, but I really don't know how to open and handle this file.
It's quite urgent in fact - I'm supposed to deliver the job in 24 h - and I'd really appreciate

TXF or PXF ?? Mar 26, 2006

If you're a translator and you're using Satellite PE you should have received a PXF file rather than a TXF from the customer (or translation agency).

You open this file by "receiving" the project (in the Project menu).

When you've finished your translation you then produce a TXF (Project / Send) file and send it to the customer.

As far as I know you need a full version of Transit to be able to process TXF files.

PXF is your input file, and TXF is your output Jul 16, 2011

I am not sure I understand the question, but let me give it a try:

When you get the PXF file, you import it into Transit by using the "Receive an external project" option when Transit opens, or by using Project -> Receive. (You need to select the PXF file here.)

Then you translate it, and when you are finished with the translation, you export the project using Project -> Send. This will generate the TXF file, it will ask you where to save it.

Is this what
