I have to confess I don't really 'get' the virtual conference. For me, a conference is about getting out and about, meeting people, experiencing something different. Not sitting in front of my computer for another day. But all the best with it and I hope it all goes swimmingly. | | | inkweaver Germany Local time: 18:33 French to German + ...
I have signed up but I doubt I will have much time for it, since I am swamped with work at the moment. I am also going to move house shortly so I have to find time to pack our boxes. But I will still do my best to at least have a look around. Since I have never attended any conferences so far and cannot image what a virtual one is going to be like, I am curious! | | | RominaZ Argentina English to Spanish + ... Hi Takako, I hope you can attend the ProZ.com first virtual conference in real time as experiencing the event live will present the opportunity of networking, visiting booths to chat with site staff or other representatives and more. However, all the presentations will be available for a year after the event takes place. Thanks Romina | | | Michael Harris Germany Local time: 18:33 Member (2006) German to English Haver signed up | Sep 29, 2009 |

...but I have now. I hadn't signed up as I didn't think I would have time. As it turns out, I should have some time tomorrow. Having read other people's posts I realized that I might as well sign up, even if I can't devote the whole day to it. I'm curious to see what a virtual conference looks like... | | | keelin feeney Ireland Local time: 17:33 Member (2007) Spanish to English + ... Yes, and looking forward to it | Sep 30, 2009 |
I'm looking forward to it though like most, I'm super busy today and reckon that I'll be in and out of it. At least I should get the presentations even if I don't get to do much networking due to lack of time. I think that it is a great idea! | | | To report site rules violations or get help, contact a site moderator: You can also contact site staff by submitting a support request » Poll: Have you already signed up for ProZ.com's first virtual conference?
