Hi all, It was great meeting so many of you at the meeting last Saturday. I think we had quite a good turnout and loved talking to everybody. We SHOULD do this more often! How about the end of the summer? I got some photos from Minka and I will upload them together with my own photos soon - some problems with the powwow page at the mo. Hello all! Some of the people who registered for the Dublin translators' meeting last month actually made it to the Library Bar on the day and had a good time (according to independent reports! And possibly make this a regular thing, like every month or so... Anyone interested in organising this? I was hoping the invitation to Tullynally Castle is still valid, so we can have this meeting in the beautiful Irish countryside. Let me know if anyone wants to take care of this! I could organise this thinng again, but there are 2000 Browniz points to be won, if any of you want to do it! Hope this finds you well, Diana ▲ Collapse | |

Hi Diana and Everyone, Diana, You did a great job organising the most recent Powwow in Dublin; we are sorry that we could not participate. The best time would be a Saturday or Sunday towards the end of August (coffee and tea shop closes end of August), far enough ahead to give us time to organise it, and for people to be give... The best time would be a Saturday or Sunday towards the end of August (coffee and tea shop closes end of August), far enough ahead to give us time to organise it, and for people to be given notice. If people would like to suggest dates, e.g., 18 or 25 August, or other dates, Dalia and I will have a look at our diaries. We should also discuss possible themes on-line, and I would like to take up the theme proposed a couple of months ago, if ithas not already been discussed, and if it is still of interest -- books about life, culture and language in Ireland, written by people who have come to this country to visit, to live here, and maybe to write here also. Very best wishes to all, Dalia and Jack ▲ Collapse | | | RominaZ Argentina English to Spanish + ... | Pages in topic: < [1 2 3] | To report site rules violations or get help, contact a site moderator: You can also contact site staff by submitting a support request » Powwow: Dublin - Ireland CafeTran Espresso | You've never met a CAT tool this clever!
