Antonella Lasorsa


Antonella Lasorsa was born in Bari (Italy) on August 30, 1965. She graduated in interpretation from the University of Trieste. She worked as a free-lance interpreter-translator from 1990 to 1999, a teacher of interpretation from 1992 to 1999 at SSIT of Rome, as a teacher of translation at La Sapienza University of Rome since 2003, as an interpreter-translator at the Italian Ministry for Foreign Trade from 1994 to 1999, and as an interpreter-translator at the Italian Chamber of Deputies since 1999. Publications: Glossaries of Chinese Acupuncture, Nicotinism, Rheumatoid arthritis, Benign Prostatic Hypertrophy published on the EU professional journal: "Terminologie et Traduction" (nos. 3/1995 and no. 2/1997). Manuale di teoria dell'interpretazione consecutiva, ed. Abstract During a physiotherapy session given by two French teachers and attended by a group of Italian therapists, interpretation was carried out by a professional interpreter in the morning and by a bilingual therapist in the afternoon.
