Hello I have a mouse problem. it freezes for a few seconds, without any reason and the computer makes a strange peep/squeak sound when that happens but not through the external speakers but from the unit. What do you think is causing it? I did the antivirus scan, addware and spyware scan and everything is OK. Thank you Amra

The USB port? Maybe you should try changing the port. It happened to another colleague a few days ago.
Good luck!

This explains why the sound comes from your machine, instead of from the speakers.
But seriously, I don't know a solution.

My mouse was freezing up a lot, so I opened it and discovered a small fuzz ball right on the wheel that controls the cursor. Plucked it out with tweezers and problem solved. Good luck.
