Hey all
Has any of you already tried other Machine Translation plugins apart from the Google API? I see there is Microsoft Translator, iTranslate4.eu...
Worth it?

I would also be curious to try out the Microsoft Translator plugin, but it has never, ever worked. Some people say that it works for a few people, but I have yet to encounter one of these people. I haven't tried the others. Apart from GT that is, which has always worked (except for in the new beta 6.2).

Which version of 6 are you running. I just checked again and here on 6.0.65 Microsoft translator is dead as usual.

Same for me, the MT plugin has never worked and doesn't work either in the just released 6.2 beta.

In my language pair (English to Finnish) automatic translation seldom returns really useable results, as Finnish is rather complex language (at least what comes to words).
I don't use Google, as I don't want to pay for trash.

I have tried Microsoft MT plugin on 6.23 , dead as usual too .

It only works because you defined English as "EN" and Finnish as "FI". If you were using language codes such as "EN-GB", "DE-DE" or "FR-FR", it wouldn't work. Hopefully, this known issue will be fixed very soon.
