"Corrected" checkbox in View or edit TM window

In the View or edit TM entry window there's the two checkboxes Corrected and Aligned.
What is the purpose of the checkbox Corrected, when is it checked?

· Corrected: This check box is checked if the entry was manually post-edited.
· Aligned: This check box is checked if the entry was created by means of alignment.
