I don't know why but Wordfast treats segments with different numbers as 100% matches - thus

ISO 22716 > ISO 22716 is stored as a TU in the memory, then along comes ISO 13485 and instead of recognising the difference, Wordfast Classic drops "ISO 22716" and displays it as a 100% match, when clearly it isn't. This is frustrating and dangerous from the point of view of accurate translation!

Does anyone know how to fix this please?
Many thanks

Apply a penalty Sep 10, 2018

In the setup of Wordfast Classic open the Translation Memory tab and then the TM Rules tab. Use the Penalty for different numbers rule.

Cheers,
Gerard
